Some details about the practice and its development.
The building housing the practice has a long history of retail use stretching back possibly as far as the middle of the 19th century.
Prior to its conversion to a dental practice it had been Arbroath's first computer shop and before that a stationery store which I remember well from my school days! The necessary building work took several months in 1999 to complete and involved basically removing the entire interior of the ground floor. Apart from the odd hiccup things went smoothly and we were up and running and able to welcome our first patients through the door at the end of June 1999.
Lana shepherd is the Practice Manager and receptionist. She can be contacted directly on 01241 878708 and is happy to deal with all enquiries.
L.D.U. (Local Decontamination Unit)
The practice is constantly striving to keep its decontamination facilities not just up to date but ahead of the guidelines.
We installed our first automated washer-disinfector in 2006, which was six years ahead of it becoming a legal requirement.
The LDU was completely redesigned in 2010 ahead of the new 2012 standards being introduced and enhanced again in 2019 with the latest generation of equipment being installed.
